Terms of use

Last updated: 28 September 2026

1. Accepting these terms

By using Tachles, you agree to these terms of use. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. What the service is

Tachles records and presents public statements by the leaders of the Knesset lists, each with its source, date and context. We quote word for word and never change what was said. The service is for information only. It does not provide political advice, propaganda, election persuasion or voting recommendations. Using the site is free and needs no sign-up.

3. Responsibility for content

The people who made the statements are responsible for what they said, and news outlets are responsible for their own reports. We are responsible for quoting accurately, linking to the source and showing the context, and we check every record before publishing under the rules on our How we work page.

4. Not advice or a recommendation

Nothing on the site is professional analysis, a political recommendation or an election forecast. A statement appearing here says nothing about our view of it or of the person who said it.

5. Corrections and right of reply

Anyone, including any politician or party, can request a correction or attach a response to a record about them. We review requests within 48 hours and log every correction publicly in the corrections log.

6. Limitation of liability

Despite our checks, there may be errors, delays or inaccuracies, including ones caused by outside sources we don't control. The site is provided as is, without any express warranty. Links to other websites are there for your convenience, and we are not responsible for their content.

7. Privacy

You don't need an account to use the site, and we don't collect data on what you read. Anything you send us, such as a correction request, is used only to handle it and is not passed to third parties without your consent, unless the law requires it. See the privacy notice for more.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page, and any significant change will be clearly marked on the site.
